Image Usage Rights and Licensing
Image usage rights and licensing protect the original photographs, character artwork, illustrations, posters, animations and other visual media published by Elf’s Christmas Lights. Unless a specific asset states otherwise, the material displayed on this website is protected by copyright and remains the property of its credited creator or current rights holder. Viewing an image, finding it in search results or receiving a link to it does not transfer ownership or create permission to reuse it.
What image usage rights and licensing cover
This policy applies to visuals on the main website, the project gallery, Trusty the Elf character pages, quote-calculator experiences, blog posts, service pages and downloadable or embedded media. Protected uses include copying, downloading, screenshotting for republication, cropping, removing a watermark or credit, recoloring, tracing, adapting, distributing, selling, sublicensing or placing an image into a new design, advertisement, article, presentation, dataset or product.
You are welcome to view the website, share a normal link to a public page and contact the company about the work shown. However, linking to a page is different from downloading its image and publishing that file somewhere else. No license is implied by access to the website, by the technical ability to save a file or by a search engine displaying a thumbnail.
Uses that require written approval
Written permission is required before using protected Elf’s Christmas Lights visuals for purposes such as:

If the request involves an edit, adaptation or character appearance, describe those changes as well.
A request is only an inquiry. It does not grant permission and should not be treated as approval while a response is pending. Use is authorized only after the appropriate rights holder provides written approval and the requester accepts any conditions, required credit, usage limits, fee or expiration date. Some images may include third-party rights or other restrictions and may not be available for licensing.
How licensing requests are reviewed
Each request is reviewed according to the asset, ownership record, intended context, audience, duration and effect on the Elf’s Christmas Lights brand. The team may approve a request, request revisions, offer limited terms or decline use. When approval is available, the written response will identify the authorized asset and permitted use.
